Sekolah Papua Harapan
Through discipleship-based education, Sekolah Papua Harapan exists to equip Papuan children to be national and international leaders with godly character, constructive attitudes, superior academic skills, and productive lifelong habits.
Pre-school through High School
SPH offers preschool, kindergarten, primary, and secondary education, with the vision to see godly Papuan men and women take their place as leaders in their communities, country, and world.
Located in the city of Sentani, the major airport hub for Papua, SPH is at the 'jumping-off-point to the rest of Papua. This location is strategic for our boarding students to have access to travel home multiple times throughout the year, and the location is strategic for partnerships with government leaders who must spend time in the capital city Jayapura, and travel through Sentani.
SPH-PHLI partnership
PHLI has grown out of SPH’s experience. Both SPH and PHLI share the same founder, and they also share a campus. Where as SPH provides an educational path up to the point of university, PHLI provides an additional pathway to help top-performing students from SPH and across Papua bridge their secondary education to study abroad at select US Christian Universities, by strengthening their English proficiency and growing in spiritual maturity, to ensure they are well equipped to be successful in their higher education pursuits.
